The Ceremony

We are getting married at the beloved Bob Baker Marionette Theater in Los Angeles!!!! It's kitschy, it's fun, it's colorful, it's very very us. Here's a little bit about BBMT from their website:

"In 1963, Bob Baker and partner Alton Wood transformed a run-down scenic shop near downtown Los Angeles into a family entertainment institution: Bob Baker Marionette Theater. Named an official Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 2009, the Theater has served over ONE MILLION children with original shows ranging from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker to a musical journey through the history of Los Angeles."

It's really our joy and privilege to be getting married at this lovely venue, and I can't wait to see y'all there!!

Recommendations

Airport

BBMT is located in the Highland Park area of Los Angeles. If you're flying in, I would recommend flying into the Burbank Airport instead of LAX. It's the difference between a $60 Uber and a $20 Uber.

Hotels

My family loves to stay at the Courtyard By Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town. It's an 11 minute drive from the theater. It's always nice, clean, and in a walkable area. They also like the Westin Pasadena!

The Reception

After our ceremony magic, we're going to nurse our hangovers for a week, and then Jack and I are going to have a real wingding back home in Sacramento.

Our House

Is a very, very, very fine house! While we had originally planned for something different, at the end of the day, having the reception at are house is going to be more comfortable for everyone, and it's going to be a lovely sweet time. Click me for the address! Our house is in Land Park, Sacramento. There will be some street parking, but Ubers and rideshares are encouraged. Dress for comfort and DANCING!

The After-Party

The Red Museum

After the reception, probably around 10 PM, we're going to UBER to the Red Museum and dance all night!! Click me for the address
